**Position Overview:**
As a Cardio Vascular Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical care to our cardiovascular patients. You will work alongside a team of expert surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all protocols and procedures are followed.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate care during surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and respond to the needs of the patient and the surgeon.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia management as needed.
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients, ensuring a smooth recovery process.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
**Qualifications:**
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
